Fellatio is a practice of oral sex (or oral) which consists in taking the penis of his partner in his mouth and to mimic back and forth movements, which reproduce those of a sexual intercourse of penetration. Blowjob can also include masturbation with the hands, but also fondling and kissing.

The fellatio is present on several occasions in the Kamasutra, the Indian book which lists dozens of sexual positions. However, it can quite lead to male orgasm without resorting to other practices.

The mouth is a warm and soft organ, which can provide sensations that are sometimes more intense than the vagina. Indeed, the caresses with the tongue are extremely precise and make it possible to stimulate certain areas which are not during a vaginal penetration. Fellatio is therefore a practice which is a source of intense sensations and maximum pleasure and which can make it possible to achieve enjoyment very easily.

However, this pleasure must of course be shared. The fellatio must have a desired place by the two partners within the couple and in their sexuality. It is a common practice of oral sex, in the same way as cunilingus or rimming, which gives pleasure to the one who does it and to the one who receives it. Finally, it is also possible to perform fellatio in the 69 position, which allows both partners to take pleasure simultaneously. 

There is no one-size-fits-all method for fellatio. However, it is important to lubricate the area well with your tongue and saliva, or simply by masturbating with your hand. You can start by kissing the pubic area, then around the penis, before gradually descending towards the penis. Then, fellatio is a matter of rhythm. As the excitement builds, increase the speed of the back and forth and vary the strokes with your tongue to stimulate the penis, glans and testicles in turn.

Indeed, a fellatio does not have to focus only on the penis. The more the caresses and the stimulated zones, the more the pleasure will be intense. The testicles are a particularly sensitive area, which you can stroke with your hands or stimulate with your tongue. Likewise, feel free to use your hands and stroke or pinch your partner’s chest and buttocks during oral sex. 

There is a priori no danger in swallowing semen following oral ejaculation, if it is not contaminated by STDs or STIs. Otherwise, it is imperative to use a condom throughout oral sex, even if there is no ejaculation, transmission is still possible.

If the orgasm arrives, the man feels it inside him and the ejaculation is then imminent and irreversible. The sperm is expelled in jerks, in several small jets, which are accompanied by contractions for the man. These jets contain between 0,5 and 1 ml of semen. The quantity is therefore relatively small, and in the context of oral ejaculation, it is therefore not possible to have “too much” of it in the mouth. 

As we have seen, fellatio is one of the sexual practices that makes possible the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and STIs (sexually transmitted infections). It is important to specify that this transmission can take place even if there is no ejaculation. Semen is not the only fluid that allows transmission: so is blood. Thus, if the person doing the fellatio, for example, has a sore in the mouth, transmission can take place.

Even if the risk of infection is lower than during anal or vaginal penetration, it is therefore essential to protect yourself with a condom if you do not know the situation of your partner. In addition, fellatio can also be the vector of diseases such as herpes, which are transmitted very easily between the mucous membranes.
