Optiderm – indications, dosage, contraindications, side effects

Optiderm is used as supportive and long-term treatment of skin diseases with dryness and itching, e.g. atopic dermatitis, non-allergic contact eczema. The preparation soothes dry and itchy skin and restores its natural barrier. The drug is in the form of a cream and can be dispensed in a pharmacy without a prescription.

Optiderm – indications and dosage

Optiderm is recommended as supportive and long-term treatment of skin diseases with dryness and itching, e.g. atopic dermatitis or non-allergic contact eczema. The preparation greases, soothes and makes the skin softer and more moisturized.

Dosage

Topically applied to the skin, usually 2 × / day for 3 weeks.

Optiderm and contraindications

The following are contraindications for the use of Optiderm:

  1. allergy to any ingredient of the preparation,
  2. acute generalized form of psoriasis,
  3. acute inflammation,
  4. oozing and infected skin lesions,
  5. oyster erythroderma,
  6. do not use in newborns.

Optiderm – warnings

  1. The preparation is intended only for external use on the skin.
  2. Application to broken skin may cause irritation.
  3. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using Optiderm. There are no data on the safety of the preparation in this period.

Reddening of the skin, itching, pustules.
