Opokan-keto is a medicine available in the form of a colorless to slightly yellow gel, closed in an aluminum tube with a capacity of 50 g or 100 g. Opokan-keto is characterized by anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects applied topically to the skin. The active substance Opokan-ketoj est ketoprofen with anti-inflammatory effect. The other excipients contained in the product are ethanol, levomenthol, purified water, trolamine and carbomer. Opokan-keto should be used as prescribed by a doctor, so the dosage and duration of treatment should be determined after consulting a doctor. The drug should not be used in children under 15 years of age. For adults and adolescents over 15 years of age, the recommended dose should not exceed a small amount of gel on the skin of the painful area, 2 to 3 times a day. The product should be massaged in a place where the skin is not damaged, and the amount of gel used should be appropriate to the surface of the painful area. It is important that the daily dose does not exceed 15 g, and that the treatment lasts no longer than 1 week. After applying Opokan-keto gel, do not apply a dressing to the treated surface, and after each use of the product, carefully close the tube and wash your hands. Local allergic reactions such as erythema, pruritus, burning sensation and even more rarely severe skin reactions such as blistering eczema, hives and photosensitivity may occur uncommonly.
