Opening Your Eyes: 3 Effective Exercises to Raise Your Overhanging Eyelid

Many girls are familiar with “sad eyes”, and some are even ready to decide on blepharoplasty, just to get rid of this flaw.

But it is difficult to call a flaw, for example, the genetic predisposition and heredity of the impending eyelids. Also, the cause can be bad habits, a violation of the water balance in the body, the wrong posture during sleep (this applies to those who like to sleep on their stomachs with their faces buried in a pillow), and, of course, this is one of the first signs of skin aging. No matter how much we would like, there is no escape from age, but you can postpone changes and preserve a young and fresh look for as long as possible. To do this, you should pay attention to your diet, drink at least one and a half liters of water a day, say goodbye to bad habits once and for all, sleep more and literally take care of your face in your own hands. Namely, you will need them in solving the problem of the impending century.

There are three most effective ways to open your eyes and lift your eyelids.

First, there is a massage. Start with a warming soap – just apply your cleanser to the skin and wash your face with light but firm (and always massage lines) movements. After that, apply your favorite tonic, then serum if you are doing a massage in the morning, or a special oil if you are doing it in the evening. Place your index and middle fingers on your eyelids and begin circular motions around your eyes — five times clockwise and five times counterclockwise. Then put your fingers on the upper corners of the eyelids and begin to rub with light and frequent movements, as if lifting the skin to the side. Finish with a gentle pat. All this will take you literally five minutes, and the effect will last a long time, especially the cumulative result – after a couple of weeks of such a massage, the look will become fresh.

The second method was invented by the Japanese master of acupressure – acupressure Taira Mitsurani. Press your fingertips over your eyebrows just above your pupils. Press on these points, and press not just on the skin, but on all the tissues to the bone. And slightly lift them and hold for exactly one minute.

Repeat this exercise 20 times.

And, finally, the third method is an exercise from fitness gymnastics, which is so popular now. Close your eyes slightly, put your index fingers on your upper eyelids. And now try to open your eyes without letting go of your fingers and thus we offer resistance. Do this 20 times.

Also, do not forget that much of the reason for the impending eyelid is a pinched neck and poor posture. Therefore, do light exercises in the morning and massage your neck area.
