Onirex – indications
Onirex is a film-coated tablet formulation with a score line that can be divided in half. The package may contain 10, 20 or 100 tablets, each containing 10 mg of the active ingredient. The role of the active ingredient is played by the tartrate zolpidemu. The drug is administered orally. The indication is severe insomnia, which disrupts the proper functioning of the body and becomes burdensome for the patient and may lead to the development of other ailments. The need to prescribe Onirex to a patient is always determined by the doctor after an interview: he should explain the causes of insomnia and start fighting the causes of its development.
Onirex – dosage
The dose of the drug is always adjusted by the doctor, based on the recommendations based on the medical history and the severity of the patient’s complaints. The recommended dose of Onirex is 10 mg per 24 hours. The dose should be taken at once just before going to bed. After taking the medicine, you should wait at least 8 hours before performing any activities that require concentration. There are substitutes for Onirex available on the market, such as Zolsana, Hypnogen or Polsen, but before buying them, consult your doctor or pharmacist. The maximum daily dose is one tablet. Do not exceed the daily dose, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Onirex – contraindications and side effects
Contraindication to taking Onirex is an allergy or hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other ingredient of the preparation. Other conditions that prevent you from taking this medication include muscle tiredness, sleep apnea, respiratory failure, or liver failure. Onirex should not be used by people under 18 years of age.
Particular caution must be exercised by patients suffering from renal disorders, as well as the elderly. Before using Onirex, people who are struggling or struggling with addictions, depression or delusions should notify their doctor.
