Omelet is one of the easiest dishes to prepare. It can become an independent dish for breakfast or dinner, a side dish or snack for lunch, and also a dessert for an afternoon snack. Choose any of the recipes from around the world, experiment and show your imagination – and you can pleasantly surprise and delight your loved ones and friends with an exquisite, tasty and unusual omelet.
How to make an omelette in French
The French dish of beaten fried eggs, omelette, is considered a classic omelette. It does not contain water or milk. To make a French omelet, you will need the following ingredients:
– eggs – 4 pieces; – grated cheese – a few tablespoons; – butter – 20 grams; – salt to taste.
Melt the butter in a skillet. When it’s finished frothing, add the salted eggs, beaten in a blender. Stir lightly and fold back the edges of the egg mass while frying. At the same time, tilt the pan so that the mixture that did not have time to freeze overflows to the edges. Fry the omelet until thick. Place the filling (for example, fried mushrooms) in half of the omelet and fold it in half. Gently transfer the dish to a plate and sprinkle with grated cheese on top. The French omelet is ready!

Scald the tomatoes, peel them off, cut the flesh in half. Cut the onions into half rings. Beat eggs, add nutmeg, pepper, salt, herbs and mix thoroughly. Save the onion in oil, fill it with the egg mass, arrange the tomatoes beautifully and fry the omelet for ten minutes. When serving, put an omelet on a dish, garnish with herbs to taste, top with some sauce if desired. The Greek omelet is ready.
Italian omelette recipe with milk
To prepare an Italian omelet with milk you will need: – eggs – 8 pieces; – chopped parsley, dill, basil – 1 teaspoon each; – onions – 1 head; – ghee – 3 tablespoons; – milk – 100 ml; – fresh tomatoes – 1-2 pieces; – ground black pepper – to taste; – greens – for decoration; – salt to taste.
Cut the onion into slices and fry it with 1/4 of the specified amount of oil. Beat eggs with milk, add chopped herbs, pepper, salt and stir. Heat a quarter of the remaining oil in a skillet. Reduce the heat, pour in 1/4 of the egg mass, heat it until thickened. Fold the omelet in half and place on a plate. Fry three more omelets. When serving, garnish the finished Italian omelet with sauteed onions, tomato slices, and fresh herbs.
Spanish omelette recipe with milk and potatoes
The Spaniards simply love an omelet with potatoes – tortilla. Try this hearty and delicious dish. You will need the following ingredients: – eggs – 4 pieces; – potatoes – 2 pieces; – mushrooms – 200 g; – milk – 6 tablespoons; – tomatoes – for decoration; – green onions – to taste; – olive oil – 1 tablespoon; – ground black pepper – to taste; – salt to taste.
Cut the mushrooms and potatoes into slices and the onion into rings. Combine the prepared ingredients, fry in oil, pepper, salt. Whisk the eggs and milk, top the vegetables with this mixture, and bake the Spanish omelet until tender. When serving, garnish with chopped tomatoes, fresh herbs and sauce.
How to make a sweet Viennese omelet with milk
Ingredients for the Viennese omelet: – flour – 300 g; – milk – 1 glass; – eggs – 2 pieces; – cherry jam or pitted cherries – 700 g; – sugar – to taste; – salt – a pinch; – vanilla sugar or vanilla – on the tip of a knife; – icing sugar – for decoration – vegetable oil – for greasing the pan.
Combine flour with milk, beat thoroughly, add eggs, sugar, salt, vanillin. The dough for the omelet should have a consistency like thick sour cream and at the same time it should pour. Place a baking dish on fire and add a lump of butter to melt.
Pour half of the dough into a greased pan, and place the cherries on top of it in a thick enough layer so that they completely cover the surface. Top with the rest of the dough. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 150 ° C and set a low heat. Bake until tender for about half an hour. Sprinkle the finished sweet Viennese omelet with icing sugar.
What you need to make a Scandinavian omelet: – 4 eggs; – 4 tablespoons of milk; – 1 teaspoon of salt; – 2 tablespoons of butter; – 3/4 cup pureed cranberry pulp with sugar or cranberry sauce.
Beat eggs and milk, add salt. After melting the butter in a frying pan, pour the prepared egg and milk mixture into it. Fry until tender over low heat. On half of the omelet, apply some of the grated berry pulp or sauce, fold in half, heat slightly. Garnish the Scandinavian omelet with the rest of the cranberry sauce and cranberries as you serve.
