It has been noticed that babies are more willing to eat dishes that attract them outwardly. Wise parents skillfully use this in the interests of the child. If, for example, an ordinary porridge is supplemented with berries and fruits, laying out a funny face or a cartoon character with them, the kid will surely eat it without whims. And the same omelet for a little gourmet can be prepared in such a way that the child not only devours it with excellent appetite, but also asks for supplements.

Omelet for a one-year-old child: a recipe

Omelet soufflé with berries and fruits

Ingredients: – chicken egg – 2 pcs .; – icing sugar – 2 tsp; – milk – 1 tbsp. l .; – vanillin – a pinch; – butter for frying; – semolina porridge or Philadelphia cream cheese – 1-2 tbsp. l .; – fresh berries and fruits – 100 g.

When choosing berries and fruits, be guided by the child’s taste – which ones he likes best, add them to the omelet

Separate the yolks from the whites. Add a teaspoon of powdered sugar, vanillin, milk to the yolks and rub with a spoon to white or mix in a blender. Beat the whites with a whisk or in a blender until stiff. Then, gently, slowly, combine the protein foam with the yolks, trying not to disturb the structure of the mass, it should remain airy, fluffy.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, put the egg mass in it and place in the oven (on the upper level), preheated to 180-200 degrees. Bake until the omelet is lightly browned.

In the meantime, prepare the filling: chop fresh berries and fruits, sprinkle with powdered sugar (1 tsp). Cook liquid semolina porridge if the omelet is intended for a one-year-old toddler. In 1/2 cup of milk, boil 1 tbsp. l. semolina with the addition of 1/2 tsp. Sahara. If your child is older, use soft cream cheese instead of porridge.

Remove the finished omelet soufflé from the oven, carefully remove from the pan, brush with semolina or cream cheese on top (depending on the age of the child) and put chopped berries and fruits in half. Quickly and neatly cover the filling with the other half of the omelet and lightly press the upper part with your hand through a napkin (as if tightening slightly). Wait for the omelet to cool slightly, cut it into small portions and serve it to the little gourmet.

Ingredients: – chicken egg – 6 pcs .; – premium wheat flour – 1 tbsp. l .; – sour cream – 1 tbsp. l .; – salt to taste; – natural food colorings of green and red.

As natural colors, you can use tomato paste (for red) and fresh herbs – sorrel, parsley, dill, green onions (for green)

Beat eggs with flour, sour cream and salt. Divide the resulting mass into three parts (pour into cups). Next, proceed to staining. Put 1 tablespoon of tomato paste in one cup and mix thoroughly. For green coloring, grind fresh herbs in a blender and mix the resulting mass with the contents of a second cup. The third part does not need to be tinted, it will turn out yellow anyway.

Lubricate the baking tins with vegetable oil (it is best to use silicone ones, it is easier to remove the finished products from them). Fill them 1/3 full with the green mass and send to bake in the oven preheated to 180ºC for 6-10 minutes. As soon as the omelet grasps, that is, it ceases to be liquid, pour a layer of yellow mixture directly onto it. After it is baked, pour the contents of the third cup into the molds – the green egg mixture, and send it back to the oven.

The final touch – take the tins with the finished omelet out of the oven, let cool a little, carefully remove the “traffic lights”, put them on a plate and offer them to the little gourmet.
