Old Tom, limited edition by Tanqueray

Tanqueray gin, popularly known as “Pepe’s gin”, presents its latest addition to its range of London Dry Gin, it is Old Tom.

Diageo, firm that distributes the brand in Spain, presents this exclusive gin in a limited edition developed by and for Bartenders, with a slightly sweeter touch.

If you want to be one of the select “tasters”, only 12.500 bottles will be marketed in Spain and their worldwide production is reserved for 100.000 units.

Diageo, a company specializing in distilled beverages, is once again presenting an exclusive product endorsed by the success of the special edition of Tanqueray Malacca, presented in 2013.

Tanqueray Old Tom, is aimed at the hospitality sector, and is characterized above all by its sophisticated distillation giving it the stamp of “author” where the Old Tom style is a fusion between genever holandesa and London dry, with a lighter character, but with sufficient body, denotes its versatility for cocktails by presenting a sweeter finish.

To praise and commemorate Charles Tanqueray, in its elaboration, Tanqueray Old Tom follows the artisanal processes and perfectionism that he himself established in those first units made in the distant 20s (of the last century …)

The Bottle and the labeling show us a vintage design, where the visionary character of its creator has made its lines and colors endure to this day as if it were a new product.

In the words of the Master of the Distillery, Tom Nichol, we find the summary of the so precious creation:

“It has been an honor to be able to access Charles Tanqueray’s recipe book and bring up to date a great gin that reflects the classic Old Tom style, but elevated and enhanced thanks to new distillation techniques.”

The objective of the current directors of the company is to help Bartenders to be inspired by the development of classic mixes and recipes, so that they become a new trend in modern cocktails.
