It will be on March 27, 28 and 29 when the city of Valladolid will hold the events in parallel of the 6th International Tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oils and 11th International Wine and Spirits Competition CINVE 2015.
The importance of the event and the category of recognitions on the products presented and tasted are endorsed by public entities such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA), and by international organizations such as the Union Europea and the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).
The main objective of the promoting entity of the contest, continues being competition to improve the promotional action of the participating products, not in vain the tasting generates a positive confrontation between the contestants to detect the one that best conforms to the standards that are valued for each category.

Within the categories of wines and spirits established by the competition regulations, the best products will be awarded with the accreditation of points, according to the criteria of the jury.
The development of the acronym for CINVE highlights the values for which you want to compete, and the product to achieve the maximum score must always be within the standards of Quality, Internationality, Novelty, Variety and Experience.
The qualifications are reflected in diplomas with different ranks where the products that reach between:
- 90 and 100 points will be awarded with the diploma of Gold medal.
- 80 and 89 points will be with the Silver medal.
Excellent products in turn will be recognized with the merit of CINVE Grand Prix 2015 and special mentions of Grand Gold, To all those who in the first round of tastings were already scored and classified with the Gold medal and in a second round of tastings only among them, are remarkable for some special characteristic by the jury of the contest.
The Millennium Dome of the city of Valladolid will be the spectator of the best selection of wines and spirits on the international scene that thanks to the organization of the company InsocFerial makes possible this new edition of the professional event that combines the world of wine with that of oil.
La Oliva also enters the Ranking
The International Tasting of Virgin Olive Oils joins the event to celebrate its sixth edition on this occasion, sharing a table and awards with the participating musts.
To regulate its normative action, the rules of the contest of the best AOVEs, the jury of the contest is governed by the standards of the International Olive Council (IOC), not to be confused with the one with the 5 rings that celebrates a sporting event every four years …
The best first cold pressed juices, are presented in this edition that year after year is acquiring a greater participation by producers, and its international showcase makes several firms come into play outside our borders to help categorize and in many cases give our prestige oleic product.
As a novelty for this edition of the event, an agreement has been reached with the University of Valladolid to carry out, through its chair of Municipal Studies, the computer processing of the data from the tastings collected during the same and thus be able to show live the results from a more transparent and current perspective.
