Essential oil is a volatile fragrant substance obtained from plants by extraction. There are 386 plants on Earth, but essential oil can only be extracted from 000-400. Its composition includes from 500 to 100 active compounds!
Essential oil is a unique natural cosmetic ingredient that cannot be created even in the most high-tech laboratory. Its distinctive features:
multicomponent;
low molecular weight;
lipophilicity (well soluble in fat);
the ability to influence the emotional state of a person.
Essential oils often act as active ingredients in aromatherapy products aimed at correcting wrinkles. With high penetrating power and the richest chemical composition, they stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin, simultaneously reducing swelling and improving microcirculation.
A few drops of essential oil are added to the base vegetable oil.
Essential oils through the sense of smell act on the limbic system, which is responsible for memories and emotions. Essential oils for wrinkles around the eyes
Essential oils are used only in small quantities – just a few drops are enough. Undiluted essential oils cannot be applied directly to the skin, so 1-2 drops of essential oil must be dissolved in a fatty base: vegetable oil or cream.

Application rules
Spread a small amount of oil over the orbital zone (without affecting the movable eyelid) in the direction from the temple to the nose – along the lower eyelid, and from the base of the eyebrow to the tail – along the upper one.

Take precautions
Do not apply pure essential oils directly to the skin as this can cause redness and irritation. Exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be used undiluted.
Essential oils are insoluble in water, only in lipids, so dissolve them in a fat-containing substance before applying to the skin.
Apply to clean skin in small amounts.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Before use, test for allergies: drop a little oil on the crook of the elbow and / or behind the ear. If there is no negative reaction within a day, this oil can be used.
Eye massage
