The prototype of the first liqueurs are elixirs, which were made by monks and alchemists, starting from the end of the XNUMXth century. Initially, they were used as medicines, and honey and other sugar-containing components were added to them to kill the bitter taste. Over time, this drink was called a liquor.

The heyday of the liquor business is the 70th century, and it was especially developed in France and Italy. At the end of the XNUMXs, the world first got acquainted with emulsion liqueurs, where, at first glance, two incompatible components were combined – alcohol and fresh cream.

And this type of liquor has become very popular among our domestic producers.

The St. Petersburg company OOO Experimental Plant “Niva” was no exception and launched the production of cream liqueurs under the TM “Oggi”.

The name itself is of Italian origin and means “today” in translation. Perhaps this carries a certain message: “Do not put off until tomorrow what you can drink today.”

The line includes four types of liquor. The strength of all drinks is the same and does not exceed 15%.

  1. Oggi Pinot Nois – This is a budget replica of the legendary liqueur, invented in the Caribbean, with the taste of exotic fruits.

  2. Oggi Strawberry Cream – the taste is very soft and balanced due to cream, and strawberries add piquancy and incredible aroma to the liquor.

  3. Oggi Pistachios with plums – nuts in tandem with cream create a wonderful aroma and exquisite taste.

  4. Oggi Coffee with cream – perhaps this is the most popular taste from this line, it is very tasty and fragrant. And the only one of all Oji liqueurs, which is produced in a volume of 1 liter.

The manufacturer claims that all liqueurs contain only natural ingredients and are made using exclusive Italian technology.

But it is worth noting that the price policy of the drink is not very high and it contains a significant amount of taste stabilizers.

At first glance, you can see that the designers did a good job on the design of the bottle and label. The bottle has an elegant shape and is made of frosted glass, which allows you to see the main color of the liquor.

The label is made in black and white, which goes well with the cap and collar of the bottle. At the bottom of the label there is a “juicy” image of the main flavor component of the liquor (coconut and pineapple, strawberry, pistachio and coffee).

The first three liqueurs Pinot colada, strawberry with cream and pistachio with cream are available in 750 ml bottles, and Oggi Coffee with cream liqueur, as mentioned above, in a 1 liter bottle.

How to drink Oggi liqueur

This drink, like other liqueurs, belongs to dessert drinks and is served exclusively after a feast as a digestif.

It is best to use cream liqueur unchilled in its pure form from small liqueur glasses.

Also, it will not be considered a gross mistake if you pour Oji liqueur into a glass and throw in a couple of ice cubes.

Special connoisseurs prefer to drink this drink with a cup of hot tea or aromatic coffee.

But since the alcohol we are considering is very sweet and may seem very sugary to some, it can be perfectly combined with other drinks as part of club cocktails.

Banana Colada Cocktail

Ingredients

  1. Oggi Pinot cake – 20 ml

  2. White rum – 60 ml

  3. Pineapple juice – 100 ml

  4. Banana – 1 pcs.

  5. Heavy cream – 100 ml

  6. Ice

Method of preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender with ice.

  2. Pour the contents of the blender into a pre-chilled glass.

  3. When serving, garnish with a pineapple and insert a straw.

Strawberry Fuji cocktail

Ingredients

  1. Oggi Strawberry Cream – 60 ml

  2. Rum – 30 ml

  3. Caramel syrup – 20 ml

  4. Cream – 20 ml

  5. Strawberries

  6. Ice

Method of preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a shaker.

  2. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour over the contents of the shaker.

  3. Garnish with strawberries when serving.

Cocktail Pistachio Bulldog

Ingredients

  1. Oggi Pistachios with cream – 55 ml

  2. Chocolate syrup – 10 ml

  3. Milk with a minimum fat content – 100 ml

  4. Ice cream – 1 scoop

  5. Grated chocolate – 5 g

Method of preparation

  1. In a shaker, mix pistachio liqueur, syrup and milk.

  2. Pour the contents of the shaker into a tall glass.

  3. When serving, place a scoop of ice cream on top of the cocktail and garnish with grated chocolate.

Liquor variation Cocaine Lady

Ingredients

  1. Oggi Coffee with cream – 30 ml

  2. Vodka – 60 ml

  3. Milk – 15 ml

  4. Ice

Method of preparation

  1. Drop a few ice cubes into a glass.

  2. Then pour vodka, liquor and add milk on top.
