Oftipan is used in disorders of the secretion of tear fluid and dry eye syndrome. The active substance of the preparation is polyacrylic acid. It creates a protective substance on the cornea of ​​the eye and ensures its long-lasting hydration. The preparation should not be used on contact lenses. The drug is an over-the-counter eye gel.

Oftipan indications for use

The indication for the use of Oftipan is a disorder of the secretion of tear fluid and dry eye syndrome.

Dosage

  1. 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 × / d and before going to bed.

If other ophthalmic drugs are used in parallel, Oftipan should be administered last, 5 minutes after the previous drug. Patients using contact lenses should remove them before instillation.

Hypersensitivity to any of its components is a contraindication to the use of Oftipan.

  1. If contact lenses are worn, they should be removed before use of Oftipan.
  2. Oftipant can be used in pregnant women or during breastfeeding (consult your doctor before use).
  3. After use of Oftipan, you may experience a temporary deterioration in vision.
  4. In the event of an allergic reaction, the use of the preparation should be discontinued.
  5. The preparation contains cetrimide as a preservative that may cause eye irritation.
  6. People who experience blurred vision after using the preparation should not drive or operate motor vehicles.
