The municipality of Mont-roig del Camp celebrates the VIII Octopus Gastronomic Days from May 31 to June 14.
Companies that hostelry local is decked out and prepares the exquisite dishes made from the 8-legged cephalopod that will surely delight visitors to gastronomic event.
The Mediterranean coast has always been an inexhaustible source of marine raw material and in the case of octopus, it has been characterized by having a great ally for the kitchens of the best Restaurants and bars.

Through a verification and information passport with the name of TAPAPOP, We will be able to follow and write down our participations in each establishments, which this year will present a Tapa and drink format for only € 2,5. and from the third bite, we will be able to choose to enter the raffles for the different prizes offered by the organization:

The Octopus Festival
The beginning of these days that will last for two weeks within the establishments and restaurants of the municipality is the Octopus Festival, designed as a meeting and festive act to welcome the summer season, from the same place where the precious “octopodo“
It will be in the Pergola of Crystal Beach in Miami Platja, during the morning of the 31st, and you will be able to savor and try different culinary creations from Octopus. Two tastings for an amount of € 3 or 8 tastings for only € 10.
El Drawing competition For the youngest, it accompanies the compendium of parallel activities that revolve around these gastronomic days, and it will be an essential condition to be able to succeed and opt for any of its prizes, first being a boy or a girl, from 6 to 14 years old and second doing the drawing on a Din A4 with something related to the contest or its protagonist.
