Oat infusion: how to cook? Video

Oats are high in nutrients, amino acids and fiber. It is low in calories, easy to digest and does not irritate the stomach. Oat infusion has an even more pronounced effect. There are several ways to prepare it.

Useful properties of oat infusion

Oat infusion is rich in B vitamins, as well as potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc and iodine. That is why it can be drunk as a general tonic during the treatment of serious diseases and recovery after surgery. It is indispensable for diseases of the digestive tract. Enveloping the gastric mucosa, it protects it from the aggressive effects of hydrochloric acid, which is part of the gastric juice.

The list of diseases for which it is recommended to drink oatmeal infusion is quite wide:

The easiest way to make an infusion is from oats ground in a coffee grinder. Pour a tablespoon of the resulting flour with a glass of boiling water, mix everything thoroughly and let it brew for 4-6 hours. Such an infusion can also be brewed in a thermos: in this case, it will be ready at least twice as fast. It should be taken half an hour before meals or an hour after. The optimal dosage for adults is 200 ml of infusion, for children over 7 years old – 100, for kids – 50.

It is better to cleanse the liver with the help of an infusion prepared as follows: add 150 g of unpeeled oats to one and a half liters of cold water, bring the mixture to a boil, and then simmer over low heat for another 15–20 minutes. Next, the composition should be poured into a thermos and let it brew for two hours. It should be taken warm 4 times a day in a glass.

You can heal the body and cleanse the liver of toxins in just 1-2 weeks.

For external use, it is better to prepare an infusion according to this recipe: pour a glass of washed unrefined oats with a liter of cooled boiled water (room temperature), insist for 6-8 hours, then bring to a boil over low heat and, covered with a lid, simmer for another half hour. The cooled oat infusion should be used strained as a basis for masks.
