Nursery groups in kindergarten: design, classes, daily routine
Nursery groups in kindergarten are now beginning to be accepted from the age of two. Many families decide to send the baby to kindergarten, after which the mother leaves the maternity leave. But in practice, this is a big stress for mom and baby, so you need to prepare for this in advance to make the task easier.
How to prepare for kindergarten
In advance, you need to prepare the child for separation from his mother and the setting of the kindergarten. If you take care of this in advance, then the adaptation period will be easier.
Remember that nursery groups in kindergarten are always stressful at first, but soon the baby will get used to it and will calmly stay in the nursery.
Use the following tips for kindergarten preparation:
- Remember – the decoration of the day is very important. In the kindergarten, children live by the clock, they have a routine. Therefore, plan your day in advance according to a schedule similar to kindergarten.
- Sometimes leave the child with loved ones, for example, grandmothers, uncles or aunts. This will make it easier for the child to deal with separation from his mother.
- Take a walk in the playgrounds, where many children are walking. Thanks to this, the baby will learn to communicate and be friends with other children.
- Teach your child to use the potty and clean up toys. So he will not need to get used to it in the kindergarten.
In addition to these tips, you can take your child to a temporary group for children who are preparing for kindergarten. The habituation process is faster.
Children in the kindergarten live on schedule. But kids still do not know how to determine the time and navigate in it. But they quickly remember what and in what sequence they will do during the day. The timetable in the nursery is roughly the following:
- Until 8 am, children come to the kindergarten. Usually a clear time is set, after which they are not admitted to the kindergarten. Somewhere it is 7:30, but somewhere it is 7:15.
- At 8 am they do exercises and have breakfast.
- From 8:30 to 9:00 they play independently, after which the teacher conducts short developmental sessions.
- At 9:30 the children go for a walk. If the weather is bad, the kids stay in the group.
- From half past ten to 12, they dine.
- 12:00 – 15:00 – there is a quiet hour.
- 15:30 – afternoon snack.
- 15:30 – 16:30 – the guys have free time.
- Dinner starts at 16:30.
- And at 17:00 they go for a walk again, after which their parents take them home.
Build your baby’s routine at home in such a way that he feels more comfortable in the kindergarten.
Preparing for kindergarten and adhering to the regime at home makes the adaptation process easier. Try to be understanding with your son or daughter during this period and be sure to speak when you come. For example, tell them that you will pick it up after lunch. Thanks to this, he will feel more comfortable and more confident.
