Number for the price of an apartment: the most expensive hotels for the New Year
Not everyone can afford to pay the cost of a one-room apartment in Moscow for one night. Unfortunately.
This New Year’s Eve is awaited with special impatience – finally, we are saying goodbye to this difficult 2020.
Given the lingering regime of isolation, it is not surprising that many dream of celebrating a holiday away from home. According to statistics, Russians massively bought New Year’s tours to the Maldives, leading the rating of vacationers on this favorite “island of the rich”.
First of all, economics have disappeared from free sale. But if you suddenly won several million dollars in the lottery or inherited a small factory, you can spend New Year’s Eve in a hotel for the price of an apartment. Please note: in our selection, only those countries where residents of Russia are allowed to fly.
Ciragan Palace Kempinski
Exquisite, rich and, of course, expensive. The hotel is located in a former palace of the Ottoman Empire, designed in 1863 by architect Nikogos Balyan, commissioned by Sultan Abdul-Aziz. For one night in the “Sultan” suite you will have to pay a tidy sum, which would be enough to buy a one-room apartment somewhere on the outskirts of St. Petersburg, the Moscow region, or even in Istanbul.
And this is not surprising: Sultan Suite is ranked 14th in the ranking of the most expensive suites in the world and the 2nd largest hotel room in Europe (458 sq. M). Add to this a helicopter transfer from the airport, private hammam and pool, and XNUMX-hour butler service. The choice of handmade soap in the “soap bar” (mint, lemon, green tea, jasmine, orange blossom, rose and lavender) looks like a modest pleasant bonus against the background of everything else. By the way, during your stay at the hotel, the soap will be cut for you, and at the end it will be packed and put in a special bag so that you can take it home as a pleasant reminder of the days spent here. The case when the soap from the hotel and donate is not ashamed.
