The first method
If your shape does not have a hole in the middle, you will need to cut a circle in the center of the cake. You can use a glass or a large round cookie cutter. Remove the middle.
Do this with two cakes. Then cut a quarter out of each, as shown in the photo.

second method
This method differs only in that in this case we use a form where a hole in the middle is already provided and you will not need to make it yourself. And also you can make the top three a little different from the previous one.
To do this, cut one sponge cake in half and slice the top left quarter of the other. Place half on top by a quarter.
