Nosema is a disease that affects all individuals in the hive. The infection occurs in the midgut. It develops during prolonged winters, but manifests itself in the spring.

The disease is considered dangerous and can lead to the death of entire bee colonies. The recovered individuals weaken and bring 20 kg less honey.

Nosetom contains:
- sea salt;
- dried garlic powder;
- ascorbic acid;
- amino acid complexes;
- glucose.
Nosetome is available as a gray powder, soluble in syrup. The drug has a specific smell. One package contains 20 grams of the product. Foil bags are hermetically sealed.
Pharmacological properties
The instructions on the package indicate that Nozet for bees neutralizes the enzymes of Nozema apis bacteria, destroys pathogenic bacteria, destroying the cell wall. The tool helps to overcome bacterial mixed infections.
Instructions for use
The drug is used for the treatment and prevention of nosematosis during the working period. According to the instructions for use, Nozetom is used for bees in a solution of sugar syrup. A favorable period for using the product is spring (April – May) and autumn (September).
Dosage, application rules
Sugar syrup is prepared in advance. To prepare 10 liters you will need:
- water – 6,3 l;
- sugar – 6,3 kg;
- Nozetom powder – 1 sachet (20 g).
Technology of preparation:
- Sugar is dissolved in water.
- The syrup is heated to a temperature of 40 °C.
- Pour in the powder.
- Stir thoroughly.
The prepared solution is poured into the hive feeders. For one bee family, 1 liter of solution is required, that is, syrup is prepared taking into account the number of hives. Apply 3 times with an interval of 4-5 days.
Side effects, contraindications, restrictions on use
There are no special contraindications, side effects with proper use are not observed. Do not overfeed your bees with Nozet. An excessive amount of the drug attracts other insects, which can disrupt the work in the hive.
Shelf life and storage conditions
From the date of manufacture Nozetom is good for three years. In dissolved form, it is not subject to storage. In powder form, the drug is stored at room temperature, protected from light. The tool must be securely hidden from children.
