Fresh linens, the smell of a new book… and all sorts of other little things that can cheer you up.
In our search for happiness, we forget that it can be found in unexpected places. Survey participants named 50 pleasures that require almost no effort, and maybe that’s why they are rarely noticed.1. We have chosen a few simple joys that make us happy. Here they are:
- fresh linens,
- the feeling of the sun on the face,
- the smell of a new book,
- sound when opening a sealed can,
- hear your favorite song on the radio
- wake up before the alarm rings,
- aroma of homemade cake,
- “burst” the bubbles on the package,
- loosen the belt after a hearty meal.
