A noodle is a casserole or pasta pie. It is made with a wide variety of fillings: chicken, bacon, sausage, cheese, minced meat. There is also a dessert version of the dish – noodles with cottage cheese, pieces of fruit or raisins. These casseroles are served with a creamy sauce, poured over with honey or syrup. Treats are prepared according to the same principle, the only difference is in the filling.

Noodles – casserole with pasta and cottage cheese

Recipe 1. Noodles with minced meat

To prepare this dish, you will need the following ingredients: – 1 kg of mixed minced meat (pork and beef in equal proportions); – 500 g of pasta; – 300 g of hard cheese; – 1 large onion; – 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil; – 1 a tablespoon of butter; – 1 liter of milk; – nutmeg; – black pepper; – salt; – herbs.

Absolutely any pasta is suitable for cooking noodles: noodles, horns, shells, spirals, spaghetti and so on. Pour water into a saucepan. It should be at least 2 times more than pasta. When the water boils, add the noodles. Salt water and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil so that the finished pasta does not stick together. Cook until tender. Drain the water through a colander. Stir the pasta thoroughly.

If you have boiled noodles left over from dinner, you can also use them to make Noodle Pie.

Pour some vegetable oil into a preheated skillet. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. When the oil is hot, add the onion. Pass it until it becomes transparent. Add the minced meat and sauté it along with the onions. Do not fry the meat for too long, it is ready if the minced meat completely changes its color to gray. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the sauce in a separate bowl. Fry the flour lightly in butter. Then add milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Bring the future sauce to a boil. Cook until the mixture thickens and becomes similar in consistency to thick sour cream. Add a pinch of nutmeg and pepper to the sauce. Season with salt to taste.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish with a piece of butter. Put the cooked pasta, minced meat and some grated cheese into it, mix all the ingredients. Pour the sauce over everything. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the oven for about half an hour at 180 ° C.

Cut the finished noodles with minced meat into portions, like a pie. Sprinkle with herbs and serve hot with a light vegetable salad.

In this recipe, minced meat can be replaced with any sausage, sausages, ham, chicken fillet.

Recipe 2. Sweet noodles with cottage cheese and apples

This is a very satisfying and tasty dish that can be made in a matter of minutes if you have boiled pasta left after dinner or lunch. To make a sweet curd casserole, you will need: – 400 g of pasta; – 250 g of cottage cheese; – 2 apples; – 125 g of butter; – 200 g of cream cheese; – 1 glass of sugar; – 4 eggs; – 50 g of raisins; – 2 teaspoons of cinnamon; – a pinch of salt.

Great if you already have cooked pasta. Cold noodles are also fine for making sweet noodles. If not, boil them until cooked according to the instructions on the package.

Rinse the raisins thoroughly and cover with boiling water. Leave it on until it swells (usually about 15 minutes is enough) and then drain off. Grate apples on a coarse grater.

Peeled apples darken very quickly. To prevent this from happening, sprinkle them with lemon juice.

Mix cottage cheese with sugar, eggs, raisins, grated apples. Add a couple of spoons of cinnamon to the sweet mass, a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor of the casserole, and stir everything very thoroughly. Grate cream cheese or cut into small pieces.

Combine the curd-fruit mixture with the pasta. Transfer the mass to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cream cheese on top. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
