Noliprel Forte is available only by prescription. It is a drug that lowers blood pressure and widens blood vessels. The combination of the drug with other substances with similar properties may be dangerous to your health. Check what you need to know about Noliprel Forte.
Noliprel Forte – action
Noliprel Forte is a drug for the disease of arterial hypertension. The composition of the drug includes an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, also known as perindopril, and indapamide (a diuretic).
The above-mentioned substances are the active ingredients of the drug. The substances have properties that inhibit the activity of the enzymes that make up angiotensin II. It is an enzyme of angiotensin converting enzyme, which is responsible for the conversion of inactive angiotensin I into active angiotensin II.
The enzyme inhibitor works by stopping the process so that the blood pressure is lowered. Angiotensin II is the factor that causes the blood vessels to contract and the level of aldosterone released increases.
ACE inhibitors support the action of bradykinin, a substance that relaxes blood vessels.
