Noell

Noell is a preparation used in the prevention and treatment of scalp dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and tinea versicolor. The active substance of the preparation is ketoconazole, which, after application, soothes itching and reduces skin changes. The preparation is in the form of a shampoo and is dispensed without a prescription in a pharmacy.

ACTION

Noell is an antifungal drug, an imidazole derivative.

Noell – indications and dosage

Noell is a product recommended:

  1. in the treatment of scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis,
  2. in the prevention of dandruff of the scalp and seborrheic dermatitis,
  3. in the treatment of tinea versicolor,
  4. in the prevention of tinea versicolor.

Dosage

You should use Noell externally. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo on wet hair or skin, rub and massage until foam appears, leave for 5 minutes, rinse with plenty of water.

  1. Treatment of scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Use twice / week. for 2-2 weeks
  2. Prevention of dandruff on the scalp and seborrheic dermatitis. Use 1 × / 2 weeks.
  3. Treatment of tinea versicolor. Use once a day for 1 consecutive days.
  4. Prophylaxis of Tinea versicolor. Before the summer period, 1 × / day for 3 consecutive days.

Noell and contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients is a contraindication to the use of Noell.

Noell – warnings

  1. Avoid contact of Noell Shampoo with the eyes.
  2. In the event of local allergic reactions (e.g. redness), the use of the shampoo should be discontinued.
  3. The safety of shampoo in children has not been established.
  4. It should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
  5. Noell is intended for topical application to the skin.
  6. Increased hair loss may rarely occur after using Noell (hair loss may also be associated with the underlying disease).
  7. The shampoo contains cochineal red, which may cause an allergic reaction.
  8. The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Noell – interactions

The administration of topical corticosteroids in the form of a cream, ointment or liquid is not a contraindication to the initiation of the preparation.

Noell – side effects

During the use of Noell, the following may occur: local skin irritation (itching, redness), oily or excessively dry hair, in rare cases hair discoloration. Occasionally: hair loss.
