The 2020 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine went to Harvey J. Alter, Michael Houghton and Charles M. Rice – discoverers of the virus that causes hepatitis C – announced the Nobel Committee on Monday in Stockholm.
The winners will share the prize of 10 million Swedish crowns (950 thousand euros, or 4,29 million zlotys).
