No hysterics: mom went to the trick to feed her little son

Many parents are painfully familiar with the problem when a child refuses to eat. The baby’s age may be different, but there is a universal way out of this situation.

Diana Gonzalez is raising her 3-year-old son George. The boy always ate rather poorly. At the beginning, this did not cause concern, but when the baby began to noticeably not gain weight, Diana became worried. The methods that doctors obsessively suggested to her did not help in any way. Then Gonzalez decided to go for a trick.

She set aside a whole day to study several books on child psychology, as well as to learn a couple of interesting recipes. After that, the young mother began to translate her ideas into reality. Diana was familiar with her favorite cartoons that her son watches. This became the support for the woman in the creation of gastronomic masterpieces.

So, now the usual cereals and omelet have been replaced by whole dishes prepared in the form of a cartoon character. For example, pita bread, tomatoes, cheese and seaweed turned out to be Mario, and from bread, eggs and cherry – Scooby Doo.

Diana began to post the received dishes on her personal blog. They liked not only her son, but also fans, who began to overwhelm the blogger with likes and comments.

In the caption to the photo, Gonzalez spoke about George’s reaction when they put not a plate of porridge in front of him, but a dish in the form of his favorite cartoon character.

“Basically, it all started with trying to get my son to eat more fruit and less junk food like chips. When isolation came last March and he was at home with me, I started making such dishes. Once I created the “Pink Panther” with rice and thought: “This is quite fun.” I would not say that he never ate fruits or vegetables at all, but now instead of something unhealthy for a snack, when he comes home hungry every day after the garden, he will eat what I cook. However, before that, we take a photo together for my blog. It’s like a ritual, ”wrote Diana.

As a result, Gonzalez created characters from such cartoons as The Adventures of Paddington, The Secret of Coco, Frozen, Angry Birds, Peter Pan, The Simpsons, etc. However, this is far from the limit. Now the blogger’s husband – Paul – asks her to make similar dishes for him, but with the heroes of the films. Let’s see if Diana dares to accept this challenge.
