The consequences of possible increased mobility during the holidays will be visible next week and then we will see if the third wave will gradually decline – emphasized health minister Adam Niedzielski on Wednesday.
During the press conference on the extension of restrictions in the country, Niedzielski added that the current decline in the number of cases was related to the holiday season and the fact that Tuesday, not Monday as usual, was the first day after Christmas.
“Representative information about the trend we are dealing with, we will really know only in the following days” – said the head of the Ministry of Health.
«The consequences of possible increased mobility during the holidays, because we are waiting for the data on the mobility that took place during the holidays, the effect of our behavior for the holidays will actually be visible next week. Then we will see whether this third wave will gradually fall, or, God forbid, it will catch a second breath »- added Niedzielski.
The head of the health ministry emphasized that the government will be monitoring the situation in the current and next week in terms of the effects of possible increased mobility during Easter.
