According to forecasts, the peak of COVID-19 incidence is expected at the turn of March and April. This means that we will probably have to spend Easter just like Christmas, limiting ourselves to contact with the household members – said the head of the Ministry of Health, Adam Niedzielski, on Thursday.
The Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, spoke on Thursday on Trwam TV about the forecasts for the third wave of the pandemic in Poland.

«According to the forecasts we have so far, the peak of the incidence is expected at the turn of March and April. This year’s Easter is at the beginning of April, so I hope that we will spend it with the highest wave of cases behind us »- said Niedzielski. He added that this does not mean that we will be “in a comfortable position”.
«It will mean that we still have to keep an eye on the sanitary regime and, unfortunately, what I say with a real heartache, we will probably have to spend the next holiday just like Christmas and the previous Easter, i.e. limited to the immediate family, to the household, and not spending them as we like or as we are used to, that is, in a wide group »- he emphasized.
On Thursday, the health ministry said that research has confirmed coronavirus infection in a further 21 people, the most cases – 045 – are in Mazovia. (PAP)
