Next week there will be a meeting of the European Medicines Agency on the fourth dose for the wider population – health minister Adam Niedzielski announced on Friday on Twitter.
According to the Minister of Health, 19 million people had been vaccinated with the fourth dose of the COVID-1,33 vaccine by Friday morning.
According to Minister Niedzielski, “everything indicates” that next week at the meeting of the European Medicines Agency, a decision will be made on the fourth dose “for the wider population, at least 18 plus”.
“Targeted vaccines for this group are already ordered,” said the head of the Ministry of Health on Twitter.
The fourth dose for seniors and people with low immunity
Let us remind you that on July 22, vaccinations with the second booster dose of people over 60 and those over 12 years of age and having indications for vaccination due to immunity disorders began in Poland.
Earlier, from April 20, this possibility could be used by, inter alia, people over 80 years of age.
