In 2012, the National Health Fund carried out 1076 inspections in pharmacies, 938 of which ended with post-inspection recommendations. The Fund underlines that, although awareness and correctness of the application of the rules has increased, auditors continue to identify repeated errors.

It goes, among others o lack of complete patient and prescription data; no signature, no stamp; incorrect or incomplete drug names, forms, doses, pack sizes and quantities, and dosing method. It happens that prescriptions that are overdue or before the date of issue are collected.

The auditors also found trade in illegal substances in pharmacy outlets (in particular, the sale of psychoanaleptic drugs, psychotropic substances, poisons and anticancer drugs). For example, in the Podlasie Division of the National Health Fund alone, the reimbursement for the amount of over PLN 36 thousand was questioned. zloty.

As a result of the inspection, it was also revealed that drugs were added to prescriptions, the use of full-paid prescription numbers to present them as prescription numbers for expensive reimbursed drugs, and the fulfillment of falsified prescriptions. The inspectors also found an overvaluation of the cost of making prescription drugs. Only in one pharmacy in the area of ​​operation of the Lodz Branch of the National Health Fund, the reimbursement for the amount of over PLN 29 thousand was questioned. zloty.

In 2012, 13366 pharmacies and 1145 pharmacy outlets had an agreement with the National Health Fund for the implementation of prescriptions. (PAP)
