In 2012, the National Health Fund carried out 1076 inspections in pharmacies, 938 of which ended with post-inspection recommendations. The Fund underlines that, although awareness and correctness of the application of the rules has increased, auditors continue to identify repeated errors.

As a result of the inspection, it was also revealed that drugs were added to prescriptions, the use of full-paid prescription numbers to present them as prescription numbers for expensive reimbursed drugs, and the fulfillment of falsified prescriptions. The inspectors also found an overvaluation of the cost of making prescription drugs. Only in one pharmacy in the area of operation of the Lodz Branch of the National Health Fund, the reimbursement for the amount of over PLN 29 thousand was questioned. zloty.
