Due to the problems with access to eWUŚ occurring on Tuesday, periodic difficulties in confirming the right of patients to benefits may appear – the head of the National Health Fund informed.
Work is currently underway to remove the failure and restore the full functionality of the eWUŚ system.
The NHF reminds that in the event of problems with eWUŚ, patients may present documents confirming the right to healthcare services or submit declarations.
The system of electronic verification of the entitlements of beneficiaries (eWUŚ) has been operating since January 1, patients coming to health care facilities do not have to bring documents confirming their insurance. Registration employees can check their entitlements online at eWUŚ based on their PESEL number. This applies to doctor’s offices, clinics and hospitals that have signed contracts with the National Health Fund. (PAP)
