We make bright eye makeup for New Year’s Eve together with the star makeup artist of the “Reload” program on TNT.
1. We start with cleansing. But the model has a clean face, so I use La Mer tonic. If you look closely, it consists of small silvery particles: firstly, it is beautiful, and secondly, it is probably useful (laughs).
2. Leaving: oil from La Mer. You need to take a few drops, rub in the palms, apply on the face with compression movements. If there is peeling somewhere, rub the oil into this place with your fingers. Thus, we nourish, moisturize the skin, and due to the oil there will be a beautiful radiance from under the foundation.
3. Apply lip balm. Then – a base for foundation from Yves Saint Laurent. This is a small tube that lasts for a long time and suits all skin types. Next, take a beige “beauty blender” and apply it with Cle de peau foundation: loose, light texture, moisturizes the skin and lasts a long time. Apply a lighter shade with blotting movements to the middle of the face, and a darker shade around the edges. This is how we do color correction.
4. Preheat the Concealer from Becca on the fingers and then apply it with an inverted triangle under the eyes. Use the same concealer to cover the redness near the nose. We shade everything with a sponge. We fix all the creamy textures with Becca powder (light – the middle of the face, dark – the forehead along the edges, the side parts of the face under the chin, neck, cheekbones) – this way the makeup will last for a very long time. The brush must be soft. For example, from protein.
If you overdo it and go behind the nasolabial triangle, which you cannot do, you can wipe off the excess with a sponge and foundation. We darken the side backs of the nose – this is a nose correction.
5. The model has tanned skin, so we will apply bronzer on the cheekbones and on the wings of the nose – it will give shine. But if your skin is light, then it will give red.
Use the same bronzer to set off the fold of the eye.
Next up is the Dior highlighter. With a small brush we apply it to the highest point of the cheekbone, along the bone we take this line under the eyebrow. And with an even smaller highlighter brush, we put emphasis on the middle of the apples of the cheeks (we do it when smiling), the middle of the nose, the tip of the nose. With a tougher brush, we work with a highlighter and the décolleté, collarbone, and arms.
6. Form the eyebrows with a pencil or shadows (we have a Mac pencil in a Stylized shade). We make them to match the hair roots. The tip can be lengthened a little, because there will be active eye makeup. On top we apply Tom Ford mascara, 03 shade – it neutralizes the cold shade of the pencil.

7. We work out the upper and lower mucous eyes with a Tom Ford pencil in the “Tourmaline” shade.

9. Apply Yves Saint Laurent liquid shadow, shade 6 with a flat brush on the movable eyelid.

10. Fix the cream eyeshadow and pencil with dry shadows to match the pencil from the Dior line. A darker shade from the palette – to the outer corners.
11. With a fluffy brush, shade the crease of the eyelid with brown shadows from the Tom Ford palette. On the lower eyelid, under the green, apply burgundy shadows from the Honey Moon palette from Tom Ford. Burgundy and green are two contrasting shades, when mixed, it turns out to be gray – it suits us.
12. Shades of Chanel in shade 38 make a highlight – apply it with your finger to the middle of the moving eyelid.

13. With Bobbi Brown Gel Liner, make a fine arrow with a blended tip. We do this only because we will glue the eyelashes.

14. I trim the eyelashes a little at the edges so that they do not interfere, do not stick and do not get into the eyes.

15. We paint over the eyelashes with mascara so that the false and our own will merge together.
16. Apply the Bobbi Brown Matrix blush.
17. Paint over the lip contour with a Becca nude pencil, shade it and rub it with your fingers.
18. Paint the lips with Tom Ford Satin chick beige lipstick – apply it with a fluffy brush.

19. Festive makeup is ready! In general, the trends of New Year’s makeup: bright shades; a combination of black and red; sparkles (shiny arrows, shiny shadows); vinyl lipsticks (like lip polish). Well, nude will never go out of style!
