A New Year’s bouquet of sweets can become a wonderful table decoration or an excellent gift for both a loved one and a colleague. Of course, you can make an order to a designer who will create an original composition for you, or you can create a bouquet yourself.

How to make flowers from sweets
To create candy flowers, you will need the following materials: – truffle-type candies; – a handle (you can use a thin wooden barbecue skewer or a long toothpick as it); – double-sided tape.
Take a candy in an intact shell and attach a stalk to the top of it. Press the scotch tape to the base of the stick near the candy with your left thumb, while supporting the stick itself with your middle finger. With your right hand, gently rotate the handle to one side, wrapping the tape around it. Each new turn of it should cover half of the previous one so that the structure holds well. Roll the tape around the stem to the middle.
If you are not satisfied with the color of the candy wrapper, before starting work, you can wrap it in soft crepe paper of your favorite color.
How to arrange a New Year’s bouquet
Having shown imagination, you can get a New Year’s bouquet no worse than the copies presented in professional photographs of interior decor. For further work on the creation of a candy bouquet, you will need the following items: – flowers made from candies; – a jar of sour cream or an unnecessary napkin holder; – floral sponge or foam; – tinsel; – wrapping; – self-adhesive paper.
After you have made a dozen flowers, wrap the legs of seven of them in green tinsel, and three in orange about three-quarters of the length. Take a sour cream jar, cut a circle around its diameter from a floral sponge or foam and put it in the jar.
In the center of the circle, insert one green flower straight, on the sides – two orange and two green so that they form a straight line. Place the remaining orange flower so that it forms an equilateral triangle with the other two. Arrange the rest of the green flowers around. Cover the jar itself with bright gift paper and decorate the top with orange tinsel.
If the bouquet is too striking floral foam, fill it with multi-colored confetti.
You can also make a New Year’s bouquet of sweets in a regular napkin holder. Cut a piece of Styrofoam to fit its shape and insert into a napkin holder. Insert several candy flowers on short toothpick legs in a row as tightly as possible to each other, pass fluffy tinsel between them so that the foam is not visible. Cut out two pieces of self-adhesive paper to fit the shape of a napkin holder and glue it over. A delicious New Year’s bouquet, which can decorate the interior and become an unexpected pleasant gift, is ready.
