In September, two famous French fashion houses will present men’s fragrances at once, and two cult directors are shooting commercials for them. Spotlight on Bleu de Chanel through the eyes of Martin Scorsese and Dior Homme in Guy Ritchie’s story.
Bleu de Chanel: a love story with an unexpected ending from Martin Scorsese
As the public is promised, Bleu de Chanel is an absolutely masculine fragrance, “full of daring and fresh chords.” Upon acquaintance, a light veil of citrus appears, a dry note of cedar opens in the heart, giving warmth. Incense and sandalwood complete the stave, creating an elegant yet unexpected scent. It is this important detail that Martin Scorsese decided to emphasize.
The director created his own story, full of love, contradictions and unexpected nuances. The main character was the French actor Gaspard Ulliel. The role of the girl of his dreams was played by the Canadian model Ingrid Schram. The plot is known: young people meet after a long separation, the scent makes your head spin, feelings that were once forgotten arise. But how this novel will end is still a mystery. The great director promises an unexpected ending.
No less intriguing will be the premiere of a film directed by iconic director Guy Ritchie for Dior Homme.

Jude Law in Guy Ritchie’s new promotional film
Each plot lasted literally a few seconds, but even this time was enough to guess: Guy Ritchie promises to show an action-packed movie. While everything is shrouded in mystery, one thing remains obvious: those who use Dior Homme, like the famous handsome Jude Law, prefer to be stylish and incredibly elegant.
On the official website of Dior, the film will be shown on September 6 and, probably, the premiere will make the same sensation as the fragrance itself once did.
Dior Homme was launched in 2005 and quickly gained popularity. Its uniqueness is in the combination of notes of powdery iris with woody and green nuances, thanks to which the fragrance sounded a very unusual accord. Dior Homme is now considered a modern classic.
