The laptop has risen in price by at least 990 thousand rubles – this is almost half of its previous cost. So, for example, version 16 Pro in the maximum configuration costs almost 60 rubles!

Once again, analysts blundered with forecasts. Despite the statements of Ming-Chi Kuo, the release of the Macbook Pro 14 and Macbook Pro 16 was delayed a little beyond the third quarter of 2021. According to official data from Apple, the devices go on sale from October 26, 2021.

It can be assumed that Apple decided not to release “raw” laptops on the market in September and postponed the announcement of new computers to October.

The display of the new MacBook Pro has become the main feature of the device. It is not known why Apple for so long abandoned the popular 14-inch diagonal among Windows laptops. The situation was decided to be corrected only in 2021.

Also, the new MacBook Pro 14 should start using mini-LED backlighting – this technology gives a brighter and more contrasting picture with a smaller thickness of the screen itself. Thus, the brightness of the monitor will increase to 800 cd / m500, against XNUMX in previous models with the same power consumption. In the future, all Apple devices should “move” to such displays.

Buyers will be able to choose the version with the amount of RAM or SSD they need specifically. The base version comes with 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory.

The MacBook Pro 14 2021 officially announced the return of a full HDMI output, MagSafe charging interface, SD card reader, and additional Thunderbolt ports. Such a huge number of interfaces will only attract potential buyers who do not like Apple’s restrictive policy towards “non-native” ports.
