New ideas for activities

Baccalaureate alphabet

On a sheet of paper, you write a word with the letter A, example: Apricot. Your child (around the age of 5) must find some with the letter B, then C, then D, etc.

The definitions

Make talk a plush, or a puppet, who has just arrived on our planet and does not know the definition of simple things. Ask your child to explain to you the meaning of school, zoo, bed, etc. What is a fork? Response from a 5-year-old girl: “a spoon with spikes”.

Top chrono

Show the child a ball (or a colorful toy). Ask him to close his eyes for a few seconds and place the object somewhere in his line of sight. He must find it in less than a minute. With older children, shorten (20 seconds, 10 seconds…).

Homemade maracas

Fill with your little man a small bottle of water or milk with dry lentils, rice… Then, tape around the bottle a sheet of paper on which he will have to draw patterns and color them.

Buffer potato

In a potato, cut out a pattern (star, square, etc.), hollow out the outline. Give your child a cardboard plate with some paint. He has to dip the potato in the paint and then apply it to a white sheet.

Magic spot

Run a little ink or paint on a white sheet. Leave to dry. Tell your child to imagine what the stain is and ask him to add things to the felt, for example: legs, neck, eyes, teeth. Excellent for the imagination!

Find the pairs

In a large bin, collect objects in pairs: slippers, two identical bowls, two toothbrushes, etc. The goal ? Rummage in the bin and collect the pairs. As he grows up, he will be able to do it blindly. Check what he finds as you go.

Multicolored snake

Draw a large snake on a piece of paper. Make strokes all over her body. Invite your child to color each box a different color without going beyond. Add a tongue and eyes to the snake.
