One more year, the hotel industry is called upon to participate in the campaign against child malnutrition of Action Against Hunger
Almost 500 restaurants are already registered to celebrate this new edition of The Kitchen that Feeds the Most, which is called the campaign of action against hunger to collaborate with the reduction of child malnutrition.
This is the largest hospitality initiative in Spain promoted by the Action Against Hunger organization in collaboration with the Spanish Hospitality Federation. (FEHR)
The theme and content is similar to that of previous editions of the cuisine that feeds the most. The hoteliers come together to fight against child malnutrition by serving their dishes to customers and with the proceeds obtained, an amount is provided for this.
- Each establishment prepares and offers a series of solidarity dishes and / or menus on its menu.
- For each one chosen by the client of the affiliated establishment, between € 0.5 to € 2 will be allocated to the mission that supports the campaign to help prevent, diagnose and treat malnutrition.
The duration of the campaign for this 2016 edition will be from September 15 to November 15, 2016, both inclusive. and here we leave you the links to register if you are a hospitality establishment.

As an illuminating fact of the need to act in the area of malnutrition, the latest figure provided by the organization shows that 8500 children die every day from causes related to malnutrition-

By not being able to reallocate the wealth of the states, it is possible to collaborate to cover the costs of the treatments for the minors who suffer from severe acute malnutrition, and it is only 40 euros for each treatment.
In the last edition, a total of 860 restaurants were registered, which contributed a collection of 162.000 euros, which would be equivalent to a total of 16.250 nutritional treatments.
