Historical reference. In the small town of Nemirov, where the Nemiroff distilleries are located, local grain and the purest natural water have long been used in the production of alcoholic beverages for their own consumption. By the middle of the 1872th century, the city fell into the hands of Count Potocki, who then gave it as a dowry to his daughter, Maria, who married Count Grigory Stroganov. And it was Count Stroganov who opened the largest distillery in Podolia in XNUMX. Due to its high quality, the products of the distillery have become famous far beyond the region.

In 1906, the plant came under the control of Stroganov’s daughter, Princess Shcherbatova, and began to produce up to 5 bottles a day. Vodka was supplied to Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as to Europe. Shortly after the revolution, the enterprise was nationalized.

Since 1992, a new chapter in the history of the company opens: on the basis of the old distillery, a private joint venture was created to produce alcoholic beverages. After 5 years, the mission of the company was finally formulated and the targeted promotion of the entire range under the common Nemiroff brand began.
