Manipulation is a game of feelings.

Negative manipulations are psychological influences on a person, without his participation and in addition to his conscious control, causing him feelings and intentions that are not included in his plans and against his interests.
Typical strategy: a) reduce conscious control, drive into a trance (switching attention, surprise effect, sharp accusation or demonstration of absolute friendliness), b) drop the desired content (direct attention, suggestion, infection, involvement, play on feelings), c) distract attention, let in the fog.
List of typical manipulations:
- Flattery: «Darling, how good»;
- Pity pressure: “We are not locals ourselves.”
- The system of limiting alternatives: «You have two options: one is wrong — the second is mine.»
- Throwing Ponte: “I am a representative of NNN Corporation.
- Authority strike: «And the general said that crocodiles fly.»
- Unverified, but categorically submitted information: «It is known from competent sources.»
- Wedge: «Your partners are unscrupulous towards you.»
- Bribe: «We know how to thank you.»
- Emotional attack: “I told this terrible man a hundred times in understandable language that neither we nor anyone else can fulfill his incomprehensible demands, but he stubbornly insists and threatens us with various sanctions, courts, competitors, which completely pissed me off … «

In a video clip from the film «Chocolate», Comte de Renaud uses the following manipulative techniques: creating a sense of guilt that makes the pastor obedient; he himself created an atmosphere of threat and himself saved the young pastor from it, making the pastor more accommodating; he formulated the most important thing at the end of the conversation, when the pastor had already practically relaxed; launched a series of indirect suggestions and formulated what he needed as their common task. Techniques used:
- Image of a common enemy. We!
- Active negative suggestions.
- Do not let another point of view sound, and for this — a) draw attention to a bright extraneous, b) discuss the secondary, as if the main thing has already been accepted, c) throws of attention.
