
It is associated with herbal medicine, but this is not quite the correct understanding of this method of treatment. Although homeopathy is based on the use of natural substances, they include not only herbs, but also raw materials of animal origin and various minerals. Can this method of treatment be effective?
Homeopathic remedies differ from standard medicines in that they target the disease itself, not its symptoms. This type of therapy is not recommended for the treatment of permanent changes in the body, i.e. the effects of a bone fracture, heart attack or appendicitis. Conditions for which homeopathic remedies will work are:

- Chronic inflammation of the urinary system,
- musculoskeletal disorders,
- respiratory ailments,
- Skin diseases,
- neuralgia,
- Migraines.
Before prescribing a specific drug, the doctor is obliged to interview the patient and examine him thoroughly. It is on this basis that he can determine which homeopathic remedy should be used. What’s more, agents of this type are selected individually, so you can’t take the same drug that helped someone else – in our case it may work differently.
Where did homeopathy come from and how does it work?
This method of treatment was created at the turn of the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann. How is it different from herbal medicine? - Herbal medicines, obtained from pranalewki. They are made by maceration of plants or their parts in alcohol.
- Mineral drugs, which are obtained from minerals – calcium salts, sulfur compounds. They are used in the treatment of the underlying disease and in the treatment of chronic diseases. Mineral preparations based on plants are used to treat disease symptoms, and medicines of animal origin to combat acute and chronic diseases.
