In autumn and especially in winter, not only our immune system needs enhanced protection, but also our skin. Therefore, we offer you recipes for natural face masks that will preserve its beauty and enrich it with nutrients.
A clean start
Before you start wellness treatments and make natural face masks, you need to properly prepare it. And for this it is important to clean the skin. It is best to do this with a cosmetic milk or a mild peeling. Too harsh scrubbing agents can damage the skin and make it vulnerable. Herbal steam baths effectively cope with cleansing. To do this, fill a wide container with a hot decoction of chamomile, bend over it at a distance of 15-20 cm and cover your head with a towel. For sensitive skin, 10 minutes of this procedure is enough, with oily or problematic skin, it can be extended to 20 minutes.
Universal weapon
In cold weather, face masks should be selected especially carefully, taking into account the individual properties of the skin. A universal option for all types, as well as for combination skin, will be a mask made of cereals and carrots. The freshly squeezed juice of one carrot is mixed with wheat flour to the consistency of sour cream. Apply the mask to the cleansed skin of the face and leave for 10-15 minutes. After that, we wash it off with a warm chamomile infusion. If you have too light skin, it is better to use another recipe. Take a quarter of a ripe banana, mash it with a fork, add 2 tsp of nourishing cream, a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. We keep the mask on the face for 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water and apply a nourishing cream.
Youth by nature
Natural anti-aging face masks are an excellent solution for those who want to maintain a blooming and fresh look. To begin with, we will prepare the usual oatmeal with milk. We will need 1 tsp of porridge, to which we will add 2 tbsp of fresh banana puree and an ampoule of vitamin C purchased at the pharmacy. The mask, as usual, is applied for 15-20 minutes, then washed off with warm water and lubricated with a nourishing cream. A noticeable effect is given by nourishing oil masks rich in vitamin E. The yolk of one egg is mixed with the juice of half a lemon and 1 tsp of olive oil. Leave the mask on your face for 20 minutes, then remove it with a cotton pad soaked in milk.
Smart hydration
Natural moisturizing face masks should be made at least once a week. However, in winter it is better not to get carried away with them. Dry and dull skin is most in need of hydration. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of low-fat cottage cheese, 1 tsp of honey and fresh lemon juice, as well as the egg yolk. We turn the components into a homogeneous mass and lubricate the clean skin of the face with it. After 15 minutes, thoroughly wash off the mask with warm water and apply a moisturizer. To overcome dryness, ordinary glycerin will help. A tablespoon of this substance is diluted with 2 tablespoons of boiled water and pour in 4 drops of liquid vitamin E or aevit, which is available in any pharmacy. Apply the mask for 15 minutes, then wash off.
Flowers and berries against fat
Oily skin also requires special care in the autumn-winter period. A special mask for it can be made from cranberries. Knead 2 tablespoons of berries in a separate bowl and turn them into a homogeneous pulp, then apply to the pre-prepared skin of the face. After 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water and finish the procedure with a moisturizer. Chamomile infusion is perfect for oily skin. A couple of teaspoons of dried flowers are kept in a glass of boiling water. Then take 1 tbsp. l. chamomile infusion, mix with egg yolk and apply a thin layer on the cleansed skin of the face. After 20 minutes, wash off the mask with the same chamomile infusion.
Solving all problems
The right cold mask for the face has a therapeutic effect on problem skin. So, to overcome the indestructible pimples will help mint mask. Combine mint leaves and coriander in equal proportions, dilute them with a small amount of water and add a spoonful of zinc powder. Carefully mix all the ingredients until a thick mass is obtained and apply it to the problem areas of the skin for 15 minutes. At the end, wash off the mask with cool water. Redness and inflammation of the skin will help to remove the dandelion mask. Mix 1 tsp of dried leaves with egg white, apply to the skin of the face and leave for 15 minutes. Remove the remnants of the mask with a cotton pad soaked in kefir. Pigmented spots will help to whiten fresh parsley. We will need 1 tsp of chopped greens, the same amount of kefir and fresh cucumber juice (it can be replaced with lemon juice, pomegranate or mountain ash infusion). Mix all the ingredients, apply the mask to the face and after 15 minutes, wash it off with cool water.
As practice shows, home masks work no worse than expensive salon products. The main thing is to make them a couple of times a week and use them immediately after cooking. We will be happy if you share your own beauty secrets with us.
