Establishments, companies and institutions that constitute a model to follow due to their professional career in the hospitality field.

All the winners of the recognitions are already known, of each of the categories, of the national hospitality awards of this edition of the year 2017

The awards and recognitions that are granted, recognize the work of the different hospitality establishments, companies and institutions from all over the country, which have stood out for different concepts throughout their professional career.

As in previous editions of the national hospitality awards, the candidatures and evaluations of each category meet criteria of innovation, social responsibility, support for culture, sustainability, commitment to people with disabilities, quality, etc.

The awards ceremony for the XI National Hospitality Awards will be held at the Liceo Theater in Salamanca on November 28

These awards are organized by the Spanish Hospitality Federation (FEHR), which in this edition coincide with its 40th anniversary.

The winners in this edition of 2017

  • In the category of best hospitality entrepreneur, businessman Jesus Acin He has been the winner, for his extensive professional background, at the head of the Casino de Huesca, El Cachirulo, the Hotel Ciudad de Ejea, the restaurant at the Main Theater of Zaragoza, the Palacio de Larrinaga or the Hostal de las Palmeras.
  • In the category for the best hospitality company, el Mesón Cuevas del Vino de Chinchón, has been the winner, as a sign of a long entrepreneurial career from the beginnings of its founder D. Narciso García to the present day in the figure of his children, Narciso and Yajaira, preserving all the tradition and good taste that has made them host of numerous personalities from the world of politics, cinema, culture or sports.
  • In the category of Spanish company in the world, The winner is the Erre de Ramón Freixa Restaurant. that from far away Colombian Caribbean, at the Las Américas hotel in Cartagena de Indias, he carries out his culinary work giving an unusual importance to the world of tapas, through the Tapas Bar, one of its spaces.
  • In the category of corporate social responsibility, the award has gone to the company Ausolán from Guipúzcoa, where back in 1969, 17 women decided to reconcile work and family life by creating a part-time work cooperative, which provided catering and cleaning services to companies in the area. Today they employ more than 11.500 workers spread over 2.000 work centers and hold the prestigious recognition of being the first community company to receive the Healthy Company certification.
  • In the Disability category, el Hotel Rural Suites de Cascante, in Navarra has been the winner and since its inception it has been faithful to provide an accessible tourism offer for all, respectful of the environment and with an excellent offer of restaurants.
  • In the Innovation category, the award has gone to him Sponik Restaurant in Barcelona,, where the culinary offer is put at the same value with the sensory experience of the clients with a 360º approach thanks to lighting, musicology and mapping.
  • In the Quality category, The award has gone to the Manolo Restaurant in Madrid, a temple of traditional cuisine based on the quality of raw materials that since 1934 seeks and develops daily from its beginnings in Calle Embajadores, until today in the local street Of the princess.
  • In the Culture category, the establishment Consuleo House of Luarca In Asturias it has been chosen, a place of obligatory stop for its excellent location and for its gastronomic activity that combines with painting contests and exhibitions.
  • In the Sustainability category, the award has gone to the hospitality establishment Elena House from the Toledana town of Cabañas de la Sagra, a restaurant that follows a Slow Food philosophy, with organic products, km. 0, in which an offer based on traditional haute cuisine is prepared, without losing the avant-garde touch.

The awards of the 2017 edition

  • Recognition of the Company, which this year has come to the company Unilever, for its constant commitment in the world of hospitality, through its foodservice division, with well-known brands such as Hellmann’s, Krnor o Carte d’or.

  • Recognition to the Association Director, in the figure of Cristina Sellés, of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism of the Marina Alta).
  • Recognition of the Professional Association; in the figure of Javier Arenillas de la Spanish Federation of Associations Dedicated to Social Restoration (FEADRS) for years in the position of Secretary General.
  • Recognition to the Centennial Restaurant, which has stopped at the Café Moderno in the city of Logroño in La Rioja.
  • Recognition of the Training School, landing at the Fonda Veracruz Hospitality School of Salamanca.
