Naraya – indications, contraindications, dosage

Oral contraceptive, consisting of two components: drospirenone (progestogen) and ethinylestradiol (synthetic estrogen).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation, current or history of venous thrombosis (e.g. deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism), current or history of arterial thrombosis (e.g. heart attack) or conditions that may be the first sign of thrombosis (e.g. angina, transient cerebral ischemia), current or past cerebrovascular accident, presence of acute or multiple risk factors for arterial thrombosis: diabetes mellitus with vascular changes, severe arterial hypertension, severe dyslipoproteinaemia, hereditary or acquired tendency to venous or arterial thrombosis, e.g. resistance to activated protein C (APC), antithrombin III deficiency, protein C deficiency, protein S deficiency, hyperhomocysteinemia, antiphospholipid antibodies (anticardiolipin, lupus anticoagulant), current or past, severe hypertriglyceridemic pancreatitis, past or present severe liver failure normalization liver function parameters, current or history of liver cancer (benign or malignant), known or suspected genital organ or breast neoplasms dependent on the influence of sex hormones, severe or acute renal failure, unexplained vaginal bleeding, migraine with focal neurological symptoms , pregnancy or suspected pregnancy, breastfeeding period.

Dosage

Orally.

Take 1 tablet once a day at the same time for 1 days.

Then, for 7 days, no medication is taken, and during this break, withdrawal bleeding occurs. The next pack should be started after the 7-day break, even if the withdrawal bleeding is still ongoing.
