Scientists from the Shahid Sadugi University (Iran) conducted a study, the task of which was to determine the most optimal alternative to sports drinks.

In a study, researchers found that those who consumed chocolate milk after exercise could exercise 6 minutes longer than those who consumed sports drinks.

Also, chocolate milk promoted more effective recovery of the body after exercise, improved heart rate and reduced the risk of seizures.

 

The fact is that chocolate milk contains carbohydrates, proteins, fats, flavonoids, electrolytes and certain vitamins, which make this drink an excellent option for the recovery of the body of athletes. Chocolate milk is an inexpensive, tasty, and affordable product for those looking to quickly recover from their workout and improve their performance.

How to make chocolate milk

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml of milk;
  • 10 Cocoa;
  • Xnumx g white chocolate.

Preparation:

  1. First, 200 ml of milk is poured into a container (for example, duralumin) and brought to a boil.
  2. The cocoa must be diluted in the rest of the product and added to the saucepan.
  3. After the liquid boils, the container is removed from the stove, chocolate is added to the drink, which needs to be chopped, and everything is well mixed.
  4. Cooled milk can be drunk.
