Naessens method

Naessens method

What is it ?

This sheet mainly deals with a product, 714X, developed by biologist Gaston Naessens (pronounced nassince). This product does not work like a conventional remedy that targets a particular condition and whose specific effects can be accurately assessed, as products used in chemotherapy aim to kill cancer cells – which can be measured with precision.

Rather, 714X claims to strengthen the vigor of the immune system and the body’s natural defense mechanisms which, in turn, will be able to fight and eliminate various ailments, more particularly autoimmune and degenerative diseases such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, lupus, AIDS, etc. In addition, the action of 714X could not be explained within the framework of conventional biology, but within a framework that M. Naessens called somatidian orthobiology. His theory, solidly articulated and coherent, takes into account the presence in the blood of living microorganisms, somatids, different from viruses and bacteria, which he discovered thanks to a very powerful microscope that he himself had. designed. However, the role or even the reality of these microorganisms is not officially recognized by medical authorities.

Finally, according to the theory of M. Naessens, since the cure would not come directly from the drug, it would also be largely determined by factors such as the real will to cure, the responsibility vis-a-vis its disease and the way of life (food, life emotional, mental and spiritual). The use of 714X is therefore part of a more global vision of healing; this is why we have placed this file in the Therapies guide and called it the Naessens approach.

The 714X

714X is essentially made up of camphor loaded with a nitrogen molecule, as well as mineral salts (ammonium and sodium chloride) and 18 trace elements. It has long been known that when cancerous tumors reach critical mass, they need a lot of nitrogen in order to grow, which they draw from the body. However, Mr. Naessens claims to have identified a substance emitted by cancerous masses, the “cocarcinogenic factor K”, an enzyme whose function is to paralyze the T4 cells, which control the immune system. Freed from T4, tumors could grab all the nitrogen they need without being bothered.

As cancer cells have a marked attraction to camphor, this product is used as a nitrogen carrier for cancer cells. These, fed with nitrogen by 714X, no longer emit the cocarcinogenic factor K which paralyzes the immune system. The function of 714X, unlike traditional chemotherapy, therefore, is not to kill cancer cells, but rather to nourish them so that they stop suppressing the immune system. The latter, regaining its vigor, could regain the upper hand and eliminate cancer cells.

For their part, mineral salts promote the liquefaction of the lymph (which thickens in the presence of degenerative diseases) and help activate certain substances released by the immune system. Finally, trace elements would facilitate inter and intra cellular communications, hampered by the thickening of the lymph.

Clinical tests carried out in 1978 demonstrated the non-toxicity of 714X.1 It is compatible with conventional treatments (chemical drugs, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc.) and does not alter either their action or their effectiveness. It is given by injection into the lymph node area of the groin so that it works directly in the lymphatic system.

However, for all kinds of reasons which still remain unclear, the theories of M. Naessens have not been validated according to classical scientific standards. Some claim that, even if they were well founded, his theories would be too revolutionary to be accepted by the scientific community, or that theestablishment medical simply wants to maintain its monopoly; others say that it is rather stubbornness on the part of Mr. Naessens, who would keep large parts of his research secret. (See the reference article for more details.)

Genius or charlatan?

French by origin and living in Canada since 1964, Mr. Naessens has had a life full of pitfalls and legal action by medical authorities, lawsuits for which he has always been acquitted with one exception. Some see him as a genius, others fear that he is just good at sowing hope in the hearts of people with serious illnesses. To date, the 714X has not received approval from Canadian authorities. However, in 1989, following a lawsuit won by Mr. Naessens, a group of patients lobbied Health Canada to allow the product to be distributed. Since 1990, Health Canada has therefore authorized physicians, as part of its Special Access Program,2 to prescribe 714X to patients with a serious or life-threatening condition, when usual treatments are ineffective or inadequate. Between 1990 and 2002, 1 doctors received 632 prescription authorizations, issued for 18 patients. Outside of Canada, individuals can order 224X directly like any other health product. It is sold in nearly 3 countries around the world.

Does it works?

No controlled scientific study has demonstrated the effectiveness of 714X. On the other hand, the testimonies of people who claim to have been cured, cancer and AIDS in particular, abound. In 1998, the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Initiative1 presented a comprehensive report on the 714X outlining the history of its creation, its conceptual basis and potential applications. A summary of the findings has been published in the Journal of the Canadian Medical Association.3

The report concludes that, despite their interest, the numerous testimonials showing positive results do not constitute reliable evidence of the effectiveness of the treatment. He also notes that research has shown that 714X does not appear to cause side effects, apart from minor redness or swelling in the groin area where the product is injected. Finally, he stresses that more research should be done, among other things, to study the theories of Dr. Naessens on the causes of diseases and on somatids.

On the other hand, Ralph W. Moss, Ph. D. – an expert in oncology, also an adviser in unconventional approaches to cancer to several organizations, including the National Institutes of Health in the United States – studied the work of M. Naessens in 1994 for over three months and met him in his laboratory. He was impressed by the impact his theories could have, if validated, especially in the fields of optics, microbiology, hematology and oncology. “The impact that somatidian orthobiology could have on medicine is almost unimaginable; it is really a science that could upset our current paradigms. If Naessens’ theories prove to be correct, biologists are not going to have to rewrite their textbooks, they will have to throw them in the trash. “4

In 1999, Diane Van Alstyne, Ph. D., an associate of Gaston Naessens, anonymously submitted 714X to a placebo trial at the Dana Faber Cancer Research Institute in Boston. The results5 indicate that 714X contributes to the process of eliminating cancer cells and is an immunomodulator, that is, it enhances the immune response. When the institute realized that it was the 714X, it refused to hand over the results to Mr. Naessens. He had to pursue the institute in order to finally get them.

The orthobiology of somatidienne

The story of M. Naessens’ discoveries begins at the end of the 1940s, with the invention of a very particular microscope, the somatoscope. Conventional optical microscopes allow a maximum magnification of 1 times. Electron microscopes are capable of millions of times magnifications, but the objects observed must be dried and fixed so that only their “skeletons” are observable. The somatoscope makes it possible to reach 800 times magnifications of living matter – such as blood – and to see the microorganisms present there evolving “live”.

It was thanks to this very powerful optical instrument that Naessens discovered that the blood contained microorganisms different from viruses and bacteria, which he called somatids. According to his observations, somatids are transformed according to the state of the immune system of a person, which would allow, with the help of a simple blood test, to detect degenerative diseases, such as cancer for example, and to establish the stage of development of the disease. Somatids are said to be the smallest known living entity and the “fundamental organizational element” of living organisms.5 Even if this research arouses more and more interest, it has not, for the moment, been sanctioned by any official authority.

Naessens — And pratique

714X is normally given by injection into the lymph node area of the groin. The injection can be given by a healthcare professional or by the person themselves. In some special cases, a nebulizer can also be used to inhale the product.

Whatever the effectiveness of this treatment, it is essential, when one suffers from a disease such as cancer, not to delay its medical treatment, with conventional treatments.
