For the second year in a row, the Myllyn Paras company gathers porridge lovers for a big culinary holiday — the Russian Porridge Cooking Championship. The grandiose event traditionally takes place in the spring. On April 13, 2019, the 8 best cooks of the country will compete for the title of champion of Russia. Everyone will be able to present their own unique dish. This is a great opportunity to share your culinary experience and discover new recipes. The star host of the event is the Russian TV and radio presenter Tutta Larsen.
Myllyn Paras company invites everyone to take part in the Russian Porridge Cooking Championship 2019. To do this, you need to submit an application on the Myllyn Paras website from 01.02.2019 to 17.03.2019. On March 19, the organizer will announce 8 cooks who will be invited to Moscow at the MEGA Belaya Dacha shopping center for the final of the competition on April 13, 2019. The finalists will be determined according to the following criteria: the design of the dish, the original combination of ingredients, the name of the dish, the description of the recipe, innovation in the preparation of the dish.
The final of the competition will be held in the format of a duel: participants from all over the country will compete for the title of the Champion of Russia in cooking porridge. The chefs will have only 30 minutes to prepare their dish in front of the audience and surprise the judges with a unique combination of ingredients. The jury will include: Pekka Savela, CEO of Myllyn Paras, Tutta Larsen, host of the event, and Martin O’Reilly, representative of The Golden Spurtle International Porridge Cooking Championship from Scotland. They will determine the winners by tasting according to the following criteria: appearance, originality of presentation and taste.
The main prize is a trip to Scotland for The Golden Spurtle International Porridge Cooking Championship and 50,000 rubles. The participant who takes the second place will receive an annual supply of Myllyn Paras products, the third place will receive a monthly supply of Myllyn Paras products.
