To treat these little everyday ailments, nature is full of treasures.

We think in particular of arnica, this plant which is commonly recommended to soothe pain and facilitate the absorption of bruises. Calendula is another plant that can be relied on in the event of minor ailments. It is used in light burns to promote healing.

We think, for example, of the essential oil of cajeput which helps to de-clutter the respiratory tract, or of the essential oil of niaouli with anti-infectious properties. Why choose oily macerates?

If essential oils are widely known, oily macerates are much less so. Obtained by maceration of a plant in a vegetable oil, oily macerates contain many active ingredients. Among the most famous oily macerates, we find in particular those of arnica and calendula.

Arnica oily macerate is produced from the flowering tops of Arnica (Arnica montana). It is one of the most famous natural products in case of contusion. With anti-inflammatory, calming and restorative properties, Arnica oily macerate is particularly indicated for soothing pain and facilitating the absorption of bruises.

Calendula oily macerate (Calendula officinalis) is also produced from the flowers of the plant. Rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory components, Calendula oily macerate has soothing properties and regenerative action. It is commonly used for fragile, sensitive, dry and rough skin. It has significant benefits for irritated and inflamed skin, especially during sunburn.
