A 37-year-old woman struggled with cancer for seven years. In the end, it became clear that she would lose this battle.

2011, Trichet Russo is 30 years old. She recently got married. For complete happiness, the couple needed only a child. But all plans for replenishment in the family had to be postponed. Trisha was diagnosed with cancer.

The woman felt the first alarming symptoms back then, seven years ago. I felt a lump in my chest and went to the doctor. But the woman managed to get her sent for an MRI only six months later, when the tumor began to grow. On the scan, everything became clear – stage two cancer. “I was treated for a whole year. Of course, there could be no question of any pregnancy, “- says Trisha to the publication. The Sun.

The tumor seems to have decreased. But there was a relapse. In 2013, cancer reached stage four. Moreover, they discovered another tumor – the brain. Operation, chemotherapy, radiation …

“It was already impossible to postpone. We talked to my husband. We both knew that he could become a single father, and very soon. But we decided to have a baby, ”says Trisha.

In 2014, the couple decided to try IVF. To do this, Trichet had to go through a full scan. And it revealed another tumor in the woman’s brain. There could be no question of any pregnancy. The doctors announced to Trichet that they could not cure her. She will die.

But Trisha did not give up – she wanted to feel like a mother at all costs. The spouses had to use the donor egg and resort to surrogacy. In November 2016, Trisha and Greg had a son, who was named Grayson. The exhausted woman’s dream has come true.

“Only my husband supported me. Doctors, oncologists did not understand why it was so important to me, ”says Trisha.

Now she has only one dream – to see how her son grows up, how he goes to school, and one day he will marry and start a family. Maybe she will live up to this moment – the doctors’ predictions are not accurate. 22 percent of cancer patients live very long even after a tumor recurs.

“Once the cancer has metastasized, you will never be completely cured. I know he will return. I hope that I am an exception to the rule, an anomaly. I hope I live to see the moment when I pay off at Grayson’s wedding, says Trisha. – I hope”.
