My beloved dog stopped letting me go home. What’s happening?

We have been living together with my Alpha for several years. When I returned home, she always met me at the doorstep, stood on her hind legs, hugged her forelegs around the waist, wagged her tail and licked, demonstrating her joy. But a few days ago, everything changed.

Yes, I’m not very mistress. And all because I constantly disappear at work. Well, I love her, what can you do. At 32, I have not yet acquired a family and generally got used to living alone, I feel more comfortable this way. But a couple of years ago a Labrador came to my apartment. More precisely, she settled – she, Alpha.

Old friends, worried that I was dying of boredom at home, decided to give me a puppy for my birthday. I didn’t have time to educate and build relationships, which I immediately told her: “Let’s learn to live in harmony from the first days, then there will be no reason for quarrels.” It seems to me that she understood me correctly then.

My job is traveling, once a month I go on a business trip for several days, and upon returning I submit endless reports, staying late at work.

This has been the case for the last three months. During this time, I went on business trips six times. Previously, a neighbor, a schoolgirl, helped me with Alpha. She had the keys to the apartment, she and Alfa were friends, went for a walk with her, played, Christina fed her and sometimes even stayed with me before my arrival, doing her homework. I gave her pocket money for this. Christie lived with her mother in a one-room apartment, and the money was not superfluous, but then she went to her grandmother in the village for the whole summer, and I had to urgently find a person from the outside who would look after the dog, feed and walk it while I I will be away. Therefore, on my last departures, a doggy nanny looked after Alpha.

So, returning from another business trip, I literally stopped recognizing my usually good-natured Alpha. She not only refused to meet me at the doorstep and hug, she got into a threatening pose right at the door, bared her teeth and did not let me into the apartment in any way. As soon as I did not persuade her, she stood her ground. Already desperate, I decided to call my friend and ask her to spend the night, when Alpha suddenly jumped from her place and flew away at the speed of light into a distant room.

I didn’t understand what had happened, but quickly undressed and went to the bathroom.

The next few days followed a similar scenario. Everything changed one day, when one morning I did not wake up from the fact that someone licked my face with a wet, rough tongue. I opened my eyes, turned my head and … met the eyes of the tiny puppy’s beady eyes. My happy Alpha was sitting next to me. To say that I was surprised is to say nothing!

It turns out that while I was building my career, driving around the cities and villages, my dog managed to fall in love, enter into an intimate relationship, bear and give birth to offspring. Apparently, she did not know what my reaction would be, and, fearing disapproval, she hid and protected her child.

When the first shock passed, it dawned on me that I was now the head of a large family. “Well, apparently, we’ll have to buy twice as much milk,” I thought, and went to the kitchen for breakfast. After me, taking a puppy in the teeth, Alpha walked along.

Now from work they already meet me together.
