A multiflorous tulip, or, as it is also called, a bouquet, multiflora, is a very beautiful, but no less capricious flower. Its difference lies in the fact that one bulb produces several buds. But in order to grow such beauty on your site, it will take a lot of effort.

A similar variety was bred by breeders back in the middle of the last century. But professionals do not single out bouquet tulips as a separate group. So representatives of the species can be found in any of the existing classes: simple, medium, early, fringed, parrot and even “Triumph”.
Multiflorous tulips are capricious in character
A feature of multi-flowered varieties is that one plant gives several peduncles. But, unfortunately, if you do not follow all the rules of cultivation, the variety quickly loses this ability. Therefore, it will be difficult for novice flower growers to care for the culture.
The best varieties of multi-flowered tulips
Breeders have bred many varieties of this variety. The following are especially popular among domestic gardeners:
- Antoinette. Up to 40 peduncles grow on one stem with a growth of 50-6 cm. The buds are small, colored yellow, but as they grow, they change to red.
- Belisia. A medium early variety that blooms at the end of April. One bulb produces 3-5 buds. Terry glasses, the petals are cream-colored with a scarlet border.
- Candy Kisses. The variety belongs to the “Triumph” class. 50 peduncles are formed on one stem 6 cm high. The buds are simple, pink in color at the base with bright peach edges.
- Fringid Family. Refers to the fringed variety. One bulb produces 5-7 buds. The petals are painted in a rich pink-lilac shade.
- Orange Bouquet. Blooms in early May. 5-7 buds are formed on one plant. The petals are colored orange and red.
- Quebec. Low-growing variety with 2-3 buds on the stem. The petals are bright orange with yellow edging. Plant height – 25-30 cm.
- Wallflower. One of the most attractive varieties. One bulb will grow 5 buds with a diameter of up to 16 cm and a height of 8 cm. The growth of the bush is 45 cm. The petals are painted in maroon shades.
Any of the varieties of multi-flowered tulips will become not only a flower bed decoration, but also the pride of a gardener. After all, these varieties cannot be called unpretentious. And it takes a lot of work to grow a lush and attractive bush.
