Multi Sanostol contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C), vitamin A, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), dexpanthenol, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), vitamin E (tocopherol), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B1 (thiamine), nicotinamide, calcium gluconate and calcium phosphorolactate. These ingredients have a general beneficial effect on the functioning of the body, especially the immune system and bone health.

Indications for the use of Multi Sanostol

Multi Sanostol is used prophylactically and therapeutically in the states of vitamin deficiency and in the period of increased demand for vitamins, for example in children in the growth phase and in breastfeeding women. Taking the Multi Sanostol syrup is recommended in the case of symptoms of malnutrition, lack of appetite, recurrent infections (which indicates a decrease in immunity), in states of exhaustion and fatigue, and when we are exposed to mental and physical exertion. Multi Sanostol is administered to convalescents after illnesses and after antibiotic therapy. Vitamins contained in the Multi Sanostol syrup have a beneficial effect on metabolism.

Dosage of the Multi Sanostol syrup

Children from 1 to 5 years of age should take 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of Multi Sanostolu 2 times a day. Older children, adolescents and adults: 10 ml of Multi Sanostol syrup (2 teaspoons) twice a day.

Contraindications to the use of Multi Sanostol syrup

Multi Sanostol is not recommended for patients with intolerance to certain sugars (contains sweeteners). It should not be taken by people with increased levels of calcium in the blood (hiocalcemia), increased excretion of calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria) and with too high levels of vitamin A or D (hypervitaminosis A or D). During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor about the use of Multi Sanostol syrup.

Possible side effects of the Multi Sanostol syrup

In rare cases, the drug may cause allergic reactions in people who are allergic to the ingredients of the preparation. In this case, stop taking it and consult a doctor. During the use of Multi Sanostol syrup, a temporary darker color of the urine (dark yellow) may occur. This is due to the content of B vitamins in Multi Sanostol and is not a cause for concern.

Precautions when using the Multi Sanostol syrup and additional remarks

Multi Sanostol syrup contains fat-soluble vitamins and water-soluble vitamins, therefore the preparation may stratify. This is not cause for concern; it does not affect the quality of the drug. Before use, shake the syrup bottle so that the ingredients mix. After opening the medicine bottle, it should be consumed within a maximum of 28 days. Multi Sanostol should be stored in a tightly closed container, out of the sight and reach of children. Multi Sanostol has no influence on driving vehicles and operating machines. However, caution should be exercised when taking other vitamin preparations at the same time – then hypervitaminosis may occur, i.e. too high concentration of certain vitamins in the blood.
