Features of making mulberry liquor at home

For the preparation of mulberry liqueur, the berries are used fresh, frozen or dried. At the same time, a drink made from fresh fruits will be more successful in taste. Better yet, if it is a freshly harvested crop, this will also preserve a pleasant aroma.

You can use red and black fruits, less often use white mulberry, because its taste is less bright, and the color of the liquor will be pale.

Particular attention in the preparation of liquor is removed to the quality of the berries. It should be ripe, but not overripe. In addition, it is worth monitoring the integrity of the fruit, if at least one spoiled berry comes across, then the finished drink will taste bitter.

For an alcohol base, any alcohol-containing drinks are suitable: vodka, cognac, moonshine, and even diluted medical alcohol.

Advice! Since the mulberry is watery, it can become tasteless after infusion, so it is recommended to add spices. In addition, a more intense taste of liquor is obtained on a cognac basis.
